Temporary Permits and One-Way Permits

If you have bought a vehicle and are waiting for the title we can provide you with a 60-day Permit.

You will need:
1. Ownership documents: bill of sale or purchase agreement.

2. Complete application for title and registration. The new owner needs to fill out sections 1-5 then sign and date the form in ink.

3. Please be aware! If you are registering your vehicle in the Municipality of Anchorage and your vehicle is 4 years or older you will need an Emission Test no older than 90 days to renew your registration.

4. Check or money order for the fees due.
Note: Fees must be paid up front for temporary permits. This includes registration.

ONE-WAY TRIP PERMITS

One-way trip permits are issued if your vehicle is no longer registered and you need to obtain an emission test. They are also given to vehicles for other qualified reasons. Please contact us for more information.
